Alumni

Happy Holidays from the Alumni Board President

Dear Fellow WCSU Alumni:

I would like to extend my warmest wishes for a wonderful holiday season to all our alumni and their families. The holidays are known as the season of giving and the WCSU Alumni Association is celebrating the giving that has taken place throughout 2018. I am very honored to work with so many wonderful alumni. The members that make up the Board of Directors of the WCSU Alumni Association are all individuals that have consistently shown their ability to care for the university. That sense of caring has led to each one of the members throughout 2018 continuing to give of their time, energy, expertise, and talent to enhance the university experience for students, faculty, and alumni. They continue to make efforts to give the students the best opportunity to enjoy their university experience both while attending school and after they graduate and join as an alumni member.

I think it is appropriate to recognize these individuals for outstanding service in participating in all the activities and events and setting such a positive atmosphere at the university for alumni. The Board of Director members that I am so proud to work with are:

Josh Beckett-Flores Morgan Murphy
Lauren Bergren-Gore Corey Paris
Pamela Brown Elaine Salem
Lois Crucitti Kay Schreiber
Tom Crucitti Sheryl Scott-Smith
Sharon Fusco Monica Sousa
Mark Gegney Diana Wellman
Anna-Maria Heredia Kim Williams
Alan Mattei John Wrenn, Jr.
Rute Mendes Caetano Linda Wrenn

This group of alumni is inspiring and caring. They truly reflect all the best attributes of the WCSU Alumni Association.

Sincerely,

Ray Lubus

President, WCSU Alumni Association

Ubu Roi (Ubu the King or King Ubu) is a play by Alfred Jarry. It was first performed in Paris at the Théâtre de l’Œuvre, causing a riotous response in the audience as it opened and closed on December 10, 1896.[1][2] It is considered a wild, bizarre and comic play, significant for the way it overturns cultural rules, norms, and conventions. The WCSU “UBU” is adapted, directed and has original music by Sal Trapani.
