Alumni Scholarships
Please Note: All scholarship application forms may be accessed electronically (using Adobe Acrobat Reader), but must be printed, completed, and submitted to the Alumni Office, located in Old Main Suite 302, in person or by mail: WCSU Alumni Office, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT 06810.
May Sherwood Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded by the Alumni Association to a junior student entering his/her senior year and majoring in Education. The award is based on academic achievement. Applicants must complete the application process and meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
Criteria:
- Current junior student entering senior year.
- Majoring in Education
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Must have completed a minimum of 90 credits at the time of application.
Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee. The recipient is encouraged to attend the Alumni Awards Banquet held in the spring.

WCSU Alumni Association Scholarship
Several scholarships are awarded by the Alumni Association to undergraduate students. These awards are based on academic achievement and university/community involvement. Applicants must complete the application process and meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
Criteria:
- Current undergraduate student.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Must have completed a minimum of 24 credits at the time of application.
Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Recipients are encouraged to attend the Alumni Awards Banquet held in the spring.

Neil Wagner Scholarship Award
This scholarship is awarded by the Alumni Association to junior students, entering their senior year. This award is based on academic achievement, university/community involvement and enthusiastic support of the university. Applicants must complete the application process and meet the following criteria in order to be considered.
Criteria
- Current junior, entering the senior year.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Must have completed a minimum of 90 credits.
Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Recipients are encouraged to attend the Alumni Awards Banquet held in the spring.

Eric N. Wellman Scholarship Award

- Majoring in Justice and Law
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Must have completed a minimum of 90 credits at the time of application.
Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Recipients are encouraged to attend the Alumni Awards Banquet held in the spring.

This award is given by the Alumni Association to a current graduate student. The award is based on academic performance. Applicants must complete the application process and meet the following criteria in order to be considered:

- Must have completed a minimum of 12 credits at the time of application.
Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee. The recipient is encouraged to attend the Alumni Awards Banquet held in the spring.
