Hilary Doyle

Hilary Doyle is a painter who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She earned her BFA at Massachusetts College of Art and her MFA at RISD. She also studied at the Vermont Studio Center where she was awarded a fellowship. Currently she teaches at SUNY Purchase College and at Brown University.

Since she received her BFA in 2007, Doyle has had numerous exhibitions in NYC galleries, as well as Tyler University in Philadelphia, PA, and Fort Worth Drawing Center, in Fort Worth, TX. In 2012, she had a solo exhibition at Brown University. She is also deeply involved in curating exhibitions of other artists’ works, previously at Projekt722 in Brooklyn for three years, and more recently at RISD in a show entitled “Mirror Mirror”. Her own paintings, as well as her curatorial work, have been reviewed in Hyperallergic, New American Paintings Blog, Bushwick Daily, and other publications.
