Dr. Janick taught for 29 years and, though he officially retired in 1998, he continued teaching full-time until May of 1999. He still regularly teaches two courses at WestConn: an urban history course entitled “The American City,” and “Building America,” a history of American architecture. For the past several years, Dr. Janick has been researching and writing WestConn’s What’s Newly-published centennial history, A People’s University: The Centennial History of Western Connecticut State University.
