Mr. Joshua Alphonso

  • Shadowing: Commandant of Cadets, Colonel Scott Manning and Captain Tim Secor, Detachment 009 AFROTC Yale
  • Title: Cadet Wing Commander
  • Project:  Leading and coordinating all operations for Detachment 009 with Colonel Manning and Captain Secor.

 

Ms. Michelle Bishop

  • Shadowing: Ms. Leslie Gabel-Brett, Director of Education and Public Affairs and Mr. Angelo Ragaza, Senior Editor and Publications Manager at Lambda Legal
  • Title: Editorial Assistant
  • Project:  Contributing to various education activities and publications in their work to achieve equality for LGBT people and people with HIV

 

Mr. Jeffrey John

  • Shadowing:  Hon. Dianne Yamin and Attorney Bob Yamin
  • Title:  Intern
  • Project:  Observing and participating in real estate contract signings and closings, witnessing wills and other estate planning documents. Also, observing client intakes for social security disability claims and preparing prehearing briefs, reviewing medical records and marking exhibits, observing divorce client intakes, and preparation of financial affidavits, settlement agreements, pendente lite motions. Also, observation of Superior Court with court tour, including civil, family and criminal/motor vehicle hearings. Also, observation of Danbury Probate Court hearings, estates trusts, guardianships, adoptions, names changes, conservatorships etc. Updating probate court volumes. Also, attendance with Attorneys at Danbury Lions Club lunch meetings, Danbury Chamber of Commerce events, at which Judge Yamin is Chairman of the Board, Western CT State University meetings and events, at which Attorney Bob Yamin is on the Foundation Board and attendance at political events. Ms. Caitlin Kelly

  • Shadowing:  Ms. Angela Zurowski, Executive Director of the International Institute of Connecticut
  • Title:  Administrative Intern
  • Project:  Developing a cultural education curriculum to meet the needs of immigrants, refugees and their families

 

Ms. Casey Miko

  • Shadowing:  Mr. Eric Ting, Associate Artistic Director of the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven
  • Title:  Assistant to the Associate Director
  • Project:  Working with the Production Stage Manager during rehersals and performances for “Satchmo at the Waldorf” and “The Killing of Sister George.”

 

Mr. Noel Rodriquez

  • Shadowing:   Dr. Bill Glass, Deputy Superintendent and executive staff including Elementary, Middle School and High School Principals, Department Heads,  and Curriculum Administrators
  • Title:  Intern
  • Project:  Observing Board of Education and Cabinet meetings.

 

Mr. Zacary Richter

  • Shadowing:  Ms. Melody Latimer, Director of Community Engagement, Austistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN)
  • Title:  Chapter Leader of WCSU/Danbury Chapter of ASAN
  • Project:  Found a WCSU/Fairfield County Chapter of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network
