The Office of Public Relations is the primary liaison between WestConn and the news media. We promote accomplishments and successes, publicize events, and inform the community about the great things WestConn faculty, staff, students and alumni are doing!
We create and disseminate a number of publications, such as the Communique and WestConntributors, to share the word about these accomplishments with our colleagues and friends.
We maintain a list of WestConn experts who are available to speak to the media or community groups about a wide range of topics. If you are a member of the media looking for an interview subject or a community member who would like a speaker for your organization, please contact us. We may be able to recommend a WestConn faculty or staff member with the expertise you need.
This office also monitors local, regional and national media coverage of WestConn people, programs and events. We produce a monthly report that highlights some of the news coverage WestConn receives.
