Adam Brewer, Ph.D., BCBA-D, received his doctorate at University of Kansas. He gained postdoctoral experience at the Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research at Texas Tech University. Previously, he taught and mentored students at Florida Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor. His students have earned awards and disseminated their research at conferences and in publications. His translational interests included gaining a better understanding of transition-related problem behavior, fears and phobias, and "impulsive" decision-making with an eye toward treatment. He served as a president of the South Carolina Association Behavior Analysis and reviews for several scientific journals.
