Tim Howard

Tim has had a diverse career as an Actor/Singer/Director, and Musical Director.  Acting credits include:  Broadway National Tour of Show Boat (Jake) directed by Harold Prince, Parade (J.N. Starnes) directed by Harold Prince and conducted by Jason Robert Brown, Leachman and Howard: Together at Last!  (Two-person show with Cloris Leachman).  New York Theatre:  Elegies (Bill Russell, director/writer) National Dance Institute, The Happy Prince (Cedric) New York Musical Theatre Festival, Jubilee (Ensemble Studio Theatre), Hunchback of Notre Dame (ABC Television-workshop), Abelard and Heloise (Roundabout Theatre).  Regional:  Studio Arena, Capital Repertory, Boston Shakespeare, Merrimack Repertory, Pittsburgh CLO, Stages St. Louis, Actors Theatre of Louisville.  Television:  Law and Order:  Criminal Intent, Late Night with David Letterman.   Directing and Music Directing:  Hair (20th Anniversary Production-collaborated with writers), Get Any Guy Thru Psychic Mind Control (Critic’s Voice-Time Magazine), Red Roses for a Blue Lady (with Cloris Leachman-White Barn Theatre), Oklahoma! (Quisisana), Jacques Brel, My Fair Lady, Bells are Ringing, Cabaret (Oldcastle Theatre) La Cage Aux Folles, Gypsy, Mame (Shawnee Playhouse).  Tim worked as adjunct Professor for Marymount Manhattan College for seven years.   In addition, he spent five years as Assistant Professor/Coordinator of the BFA Musical Theatre at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he directed or music directed: Floyd Collins, Sunday in the Park with George, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Rent, Baby, Drood, and She Loves Me.  He maintains the Tim Howard Studios in New York City as a voice teacher/audition coach to the Broadway community.  www.TimHowardonline.com
