Meet The Counselors
Our two campus counselor/advocates have been certified by The Women’s Center which upholds the standards of certification of the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) and The Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence to work with Domestic/Dating Violence and Sexual Assault victims/survivors, both primary and secondary.
Rayna Havelock
Campus Counselor/Advocate
Rayna has been with the Women’s Center since 2009. She started out as a volunteer working the hotline and helping out in the community education department. In 2013 she was hired as the Campus advocate at WCSU. Rayna has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from WCSU. Rayna’s hope is to let all students know that there is help and they never have to go through it alone!
Sydney Trezza
Campus Counselor/Advocate
Sydney was hired to work as a Campus Counselor/Advocate at WCSU for the Women’s Center in the Fall of 2017. She has her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Lynn University in South Florida and her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from WCSU. Her goal as a Campus Counselor is to help survivors of sexual assault and/or domestic/dating violence feel supported, respected, and valued in their community. She wants all members of WCSU’s community to know that they are never alone, and that the Women’s Center is here to help anyone and everyone.
