Edward Little is a professional artist and expert oil painter, an Associate Living Master of the Artists' Renewal Center, a member of the Portrait Society, and of Oil Painters of America.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in Editorial and Information Design in 1983, graduating summa cum laude from the prestigious Ravensbourne College of Art in London. In 1984 he began freelancing as a designer and illustrator in New York City for clients such as Scholastic, Ogilvy & Mather, Grey Advertising and Young and Rubicam. In the following years his illustrations and portraits were commissioned by, amongst others, American Express, Citicorp, IBM, Mars, Pepsi,  Pfizer, Unicover, UPS and Reader's Digest. From 1996 in addition to commercial illustration Edward was commissioned to create trompe l’oeil effects and mural paintings for leading New York City Interior Designers and their clients in America and Europe. Today Edward focuses on private commissions and Fine Art for sale online and in galleries. Since 2003 Edward has instructed as an adjunct Professor of Art History, Drawing and Painting at Western Connecticut State University. In 2011 he received an MFA in Figurative painting from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. Edward paints and instructs in his studio in Litchfield county, inspired by artists that include Alma-Tadema, Bouguereau, Collins, Greene, Lipking, Monet, Pino, Rockwell, Sargent and Schmidt.
