WCSU Mail Services

Western Connecticut Mail Services is located in the basement of the Midtown Student Center in room 003. The hours of operation are 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.

USPS  letters and packages that require special handling (overnights, express mail, registered or certified mail) must be brought to the mailroom prior to 2:00. 

New Announcements

Students- if you are expecting a package our new Mail Services automated e-mail system will send an e-mail to your WCSU student account when your package is ready for pickup. Pickups are available after 2pm on the day you receive the email or anytime during regular business hours the following day at our Mail Services pickup window. The pickup window is conveniently located in the basement of the Midtown Student center near the shuttle bus stop.

Services Provided

• Inter-Office Mail Pickup and Delivery
• Sorting of all incoming and inter-campus mail and student packages
• Metering of all outgoing mail (including Certified, Registered, Insured and Express Mail
• Customer Service window providing services to the University Community and Students
  (8:00AM – 4:00PM)
• Inter-Agency State Courier Service

The mailroom sorts and distributes mail in accordance with all USPS operating procedures. University Mail restricts collection and distribution to mail items only. Supplies and Freight packages are handled by Shipping and Receiving at 203-837-9242.

University Mail Services delivers University mail to each of the Residence Hall Offices on  regular daily routes. Students will receive notification via their student e-mail accounts when packages are received for student pickup in the Mailroom.
