WCSU Shuttle Schedule 2019 – 2020

Plan for the shuttle to take 30 minutes between campuses. 

Note: Pickup times are subject to change due to traffic conditions, weather and other unforeseen circumstances. Please allow for a few minutes in order to ensure a shuttle will be able to pick you up. WCSU is not responsible for anyone missing the shuttle. 

August 20 through August 26 Schedule 

The shuttle will operate on a special orientation schedule.

August 21 – August 26 –  Shuttle will leave Midtown at 6:00am and Westside at 6:30am continuing on the hour from Midtown and the half-hour on Westside.  The last pickup will be at 12:00am from Midtown.

On Monday, August 26 the shuttle will add an additional stop at the Ice Rink on Delay Street between 12:30pm and 5:30pm in both directions.

Monday to Friday Schedule 

The shuttle begins its run at 6:45am from both campuses. The shuttle’s final pickup is at 12:15am from both campuses. The shuttles leaves every 15 minutes until 6:00pm and then leaves every 30 minutes after 6:00 pm.

Saturday and Sunday Schedule

The shuttle begins service at 9:00 am from both campuses. The shuttle’s final pickup is at 12:15 am on both campuses.  Two shuttles operate on weekends.  Due to the stop at the Danbury Fair Mall, the trip will take about 45 minutes between the two campuses until 7:00 pm, and 30 minutes after 7:00 pm.  Click here to download the weekend schedule.

Note: The 6:45 pm shuttles will wait until 7:00 pm to return to an “on the hour and half hour service” for the rest of the evening.

Danbury Fair Mall Times 

The shuttle stops at the mall only on the weekends. As a general guide: The shuttle should arrive at the Danbury Fair Mall approximately 20-25 minutes after it begins its run from Midtown and 10-15 minutes after it begins its run from Westside. Remember these are only estimates. Actual times are based on ridership, traffic and weather conditions. WCSU is not responsible for anyone missing the shuttle. 

The last shuttle to leave for the Danbury Fair Mall will leave each campus at 6:00pm.

 

Final Exam Period

The shuttle will run on the regular schedule.

 

Early Closing

In the event that classes are cancelled the last shuttle bus pickup will be (1) hour after the cancellation time. For example, if classes are cancelled at 2:00pm, the last pickup will be 3:00pm.

 

Delayed Opening

If classes are delayed the bus will begin to run one (1) hour prior to the start of classes.

 

University Closing

If the University is closed for the day, there will be no shuttle service.
