Krystal Sherland
Krystal’s interest in weather began in elementary school. She started learning about the different types of clouds in the third grade, and was always intrigued by thunderstorms. Living on Long Island, she enjoyed watching storms at the beach and seeing their effects on the shore. Currently a senior at Western Connecticut State University, she will be receiving her B.S. in meteorology under the operational track in May 2016. After graduation it is her goal to become an on-air meteorologist at a news station.
