There is no fee for transcript requests.
Note: Transcripts will not be issued if you have any outstanding financial obligations (e.g. parking tickets, library late fees) or if you have a cashier’s hold on your account.

Transcripts present a listing of courses for which the student enrolled, the grade for each course and any transfer credit being used to fulfill degree requirements.  Official transcripts contain the original signature of an authorized official, and bears the legal seal of the university and are typically sent directly from the university to another institution or outside agency.
An official transcript may also be issued to the student. All current and former students may request a transcript for their personal use. Paper transcripts issued to the students are stamped “Official Transcript – Issued to Student in Sealed Envelope.”

Note: Requesting an eTranscript is the most efficient way to obtain your record. Most online requests will be processed within 24 hours or less.
*Additionally, if you attended WCSU in the 1980’s or prior to that, your transcript may only be available on Microfilm and your student record will not be available for eTranscript.  A paper transcript is the only format available and can be accessed here: transcript request form     Submit your request, select Paper Transcript Mailed, and provide a complete mailing address.


1) Current and Recent Students:
Current students should log into Banner Web, navigate to Student Services tab and then scroll down to the last link to order an Official Transcript from Parchment.  Both eTranscript and paper transcripts can be requested through Parchment.

2) Former Students:

Students who are not currently taking courses at WCSU should click on the Former Students/Alumni link (below) to create an account with Parchment.  Please ensure that your last name, first name, date of birth and last four digits of your SSN are entered correctly so that your request can be processed in a timely manner.  Both eTranscript and paper transcripts can be requested through Parchment.


3) Current, Recent & Former Students:
Students who do not wish to utilize the online transcript request you can still obtain a paper copy of your transcript by filling out the transcript request form and mailing, faxing or emailing it in as an attachment. You cannot obtain an eTranscript using the transcript request form. Please understand that this will take additional time to process. Please allow 2 business days for transcript processing. Transcripts are sent out via USPS and may take approximately 7-10 business days for delivery. Students who require express service delivery may choose from the following options:

To send your transcripts using FedEx express service, the FedEx account number needs to be sent Requestregistrar@wcsu.edu. Please be sure to include your shipping preference in the email as well. The requestor is responsible to arrange pick up at WCSU, Old Main 102, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT 06811.To open up a FedEx account, please visit their website. Other carriers available are UPS and DHL.

Priority/Express Mail(US Postal Service)
To send your transcripts using Priority/Express Mail service through the US Postal Service, the request must be accompanied by a pre-paid and pre-addressed Express Mail/Priority Mail envelope. All arrangements must be made by the requestor.
