Barden’s Honor Students International and Domestic Travel Fund

The fund was created with a donation from Barden Foundation to support international and domestic travel for academic purposes for students enrolled in the Kathwari Honors Program at WCSU, not otherwise fully funded by other groups. The fund may be used to travel to conferences, study abroad locales or research sites. All travel requests must be linked to an academic course as a graded or extra credit requirement.

All of the funds in this account shall be used to grant awards to students who:

Are in good standing within the Kathwari Honors Program at WCSU for the semester funding is being requested.
Submit a completed Barden Travel Fund Application to the Kathwari Honors Program at honors@wcsu.edu.

The application and determination of funding will be decided by the Director or Assistant Director of the Honors Program, in conjunction with the Barden
Foundation.

If interested in applying, please set up a meeting with Jessica Lin at linj@wcsu.edu. First time applicants will have preference.

Please note that the funds approved will be in the form of reimbursements, so please save any and all of your travel receipts!
