Finding Our Way was a hands-on learning program that gets students involved in the environmental sciences of their surroundings and fosters lifelong interest in protecting our environment. Offered for K-12 Graders & Their Families which ran from Summer 2016 through June 2019.

Help Restore the Gardens & Riverbank at Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk

Help us remove invasives and plant native wildflowers and trees to restore the park’s gardens and the riverbank to prevent erosion and protect the river. Meet at the playground on North Water Street between the Aquarium and the new mall in Norwalk. Bring water, gloves, clippers, and a spade or shovel if possible. Limited tools are available.

Applications Open for Natural Resources Conservation Academy
The NRCA engages high school students, conservation volunteers, and teachers in environmental ed and service-learning programming, and participants execute a long term conservation project in their own towns throughout Connecticut.
