Finding Our Way - WCSU STEM

Parent Resources

For the Environmental Stewardship action portion of the Following Our Way program, parents play a key role so this Family Resources page is here to help you formulate your plan and to find community activities that your family would like. Through-out the winter/spring, our small groups will examine watershed issues and figure out ways to address them. (2017-18 Participant Proposals) We also encourage families to participate in other community stewardship activities too and to keep track of them. There will be prizes!

Remember, when you’re an environmental steward, you’re a caretaker of the earth. Through science education, you investigate nature and the things that adversely affect it. You think about ways to take action and participate in activities that protect our communities and earth’s resources. Environmental stewards solve real problems and make a positive difference. Parents are excellent stewardship leaders for their children by encouraging ongoing meaningful family stewardship activities.

Please check this page often. It will be updated with more ideas and activities for you and your family.
