2025-2026 Academic Year Department: Pre-Collegiate & Access Programs Location: Danbury High School (43 Clapboard Ridge Rd, Danbury CT) & Danbury High West Campus (40 Apple Ridge Rd, Danbury, CT) Description: Currently seeking motivated and dependable college students to serve as tutors for high school students (grades 9 – 12) enrolled in the ConnCAP/Upward Bound program at Danbury High School and Danbury High West Campus. Tutors will provide one-on-one and/or small group academic support in a variety of subjects. Subjects Needed: Math (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics (Honors and AP level) English/ Writing Biology (Honors and AP) Chemistry (Honors and AP) History and Geography Spanish (Beginner to Honors and AP) Philosophy Physics Requirements: Must be a WCSU student with Sophomore standing and at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA Demonstrate academic excellence in tutoring subject Must have reliable transportation to Danbury High School locations Must present a valid government issued ID (Driver’s license) to access the school building Strong communication and interpersonal skills Prior tutoring and mentoring experience preferred Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:15am – 10:45am (potential for additional hours on select Saturdays) Pay Rate: $16.35 / hr.
